Year-wise Vendor Development Programmes for Micro and Small Enterprises under Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme from 2017-18 to 2022-23

To enhance the participation of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in procurements made by Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), 12,700 Vendor Development Programmes including 2,266 Vendor Development Programmes of SC/ST owned MSEs have been organized by CPSEs since 2017-18. This line chart provides information about the year-wise details of number of Vendor Development Programmes (VDPs) for Gen. MSEs and for SC/ST owned Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) from 2017-18 to 2022-23 (as on 03.08.2022). The highest number of Vendor Development Programmes (VDPs) for Gen. MSEs was 2,560 in 2021-22 and for SC/ST owned MSEs was 585 in 2018-19.
The lowest number of Vendor Development Programmes (VDPs) for Gen. MSEs was 179 and for SC/ST owned MSEs was 14 in 2022-23 (as on 03.08.2022).
