This chart provides information about the year-wise telephone subscribers (Public & Private Sector Operators) from 2008 to 2022 (end of March). The total telephone subscriber was 1,770.97 million in PSUs while 12,399.41 million telephone subscriber was in the Private Sector Operators. The highest subscriber was 134.97 million in PSUs in 2020 and 1080.14 million was in the Private Sector Operators in 2018. The lowest telephone subscriber was 79.55 million in PSUs in 2008 and 220.94 million in the private sector in 2008.
