Year-wise Quantity and Value of Imported Coal from 2015-16 to 2020-21

Total 1221.5 metric tonnes of coal was imported from 2015-16 to 2020-21 (upto November 2020). The cost of total imported coal was Rs 7,18,190 crore from 2015-16 to 2020-21 (upto November 2020).
The highest 248.54 metric tonnes of coal was imported in 2019-20 which cost was Rs. 1,52,732 crore. The lowest 190.95 metric tonnes of coal was imported in 2016-17 which cost was Rs. 100231 crore.
