This chart shows the year-wise number of passengers carried by Scheduled Indian Operators for Scheduled Domestic and International Operations from 2019-20 to 2024-25 (up to October 2024). The highest number of passengers carried by Scheduled Indian Operators for Scheduled Domestic Operations from 2019-20 to 2024-25 was in the year 2023-24 (15,36,74,310). The highest Number of Passengers Carried by Scheduled Indian Operators for International Operations from 2019-20 to 2024-25 was in the year 2023-24 (2,95,89,718).

This data includes Non-Scheduled International Operations from April 2020 to March 2022 as the Scheduled international operations in the said period were suspended due to Covid-19 restrictions. The International operations in this period were carried out as per DGCAs circular dated 26-03-2020, and the scheduled international passenger services to/from India resumed as per DGCAs circular dated 08-03-2022.
