This chart shows information about the year-wise details of Petroleum Production and Consumption in the country from 2022-23 to 2024-25 (up to December 2024). Total petroleum production in the country stood at 754.1 million metric tons, while total consumption reached 635.5 million metric tons. The highest production was recorded in 2023-24 at 276 million metric tons, accompanied by the highest consumption of 234 million metric tons. The lowest production was observed in 2024-25 (up to December) at 211.6 million metric tons, with the lowest consumption of 178.5 million metric tons during the same period.
