Year-wise Details of Fund Allocation and Expenditure under National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) from 2020-21 to 2024-25

The chart presents year-wise data on fund allocation and expenditure under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) for the period 2020-21 to 2024-25. The highest allocation of funds was recorded in the year 2021-22, amounting to Rs.3,409.94 crore. In contrast, the lowest allocation was observed in 2022-23, with Rs. 1,666.33 crore. In terms of expenditure, the peak spending occurred in 2020-21, reaching Rs. 3,097.98 crore. The lowest expenditure was noted in 2022-23, at Rs. 910.83 crore. The data indicates a fluctuating trend in both allocation and actual spending over the years, highlighting potential gaps between sanctioned budgets and actual utilization, particularly in 2022-23.
