Year-wise Details of Foreign Companies Started Operating in the Country from 2018 to 2023

The line chart displays the year-wise details of the number of foreign companies registered under Chapter-XXII of the Companies Act, 2013, which started operating in the country from 2018 to 2023 (till 09-03-2023). According to data, a total of 469 foreign companies have been registered from 2018 to 2023. The registration of foreign companies peaked in 2019 (with a value 137), whereas the minimum number of registrations has been observed in 2023. It is evident from the chart that there has been a continuous decline in the number of registrations of foreign companies from 2020 to 2023.
