This chart shows the year-wise average number of LPG cylinder refills per beneficiary under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) from 2019-20 to 2024-25. The highest average number of LPG cylinder refills per beneficiary under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) from 2019-20 to 2024-25 was 4.39 in the year 2020-21. The lowest was 3.01 in the year 2019-20.

The increase in consumption during FY 2020-21 is mainly due to the provision of Free refills to PMUY Beneficiaries under PMGKY scheme, under which up to three free refills were given to PMUY Beneficiaries and beneficiaries availed 14.17 crore refills.
