In June 2013, number of all India wireless subscribers were at 873.37 million,it grew at a CAGR of 19.57% during 2009-13, but it has fallen by 6.5% in comparison to June 2012. In June 2013, top seven service providers according to wireless subscriber base were Bharti, Reliance, Vodafone, Idea/Spice, BSNL, Tata and Aircel/Dishnet. Bharti had the highest subscriber base of 190.91 million, which is 22% of all India wireless subscribers. Reliance stood at second position with subscriber base of 155.03 million. During 2009-2013, among Top 7 wireless service providers (according to subscriber base) highest growth of subscriber base was observed for Aircel/Dishnet, which grew at a CAGR of 29.32%. In June-2013, maximum yoy growth (among Top 7 Wireless Service Providers) of subscriber base was observed for Idea/Spice, which grew at 6.67% over June-2012.
