During 2001 to 2012 registered motor vehicles per 1000 population has increased by CAGR of 10.2%. During this period maximum yoy growth of registered motor vehicles per 1000 population was observed in the year 2003, when it grew by 11.9 % over 2002. During 2001 to 2011 registered motor vehicles per 100 Kms of road length has increased by CAGR of 1.8%. During this period maximum yoy growth of registered motor vehicles per 100 Kms of road length was observed in the year 2009, when it grew by 7.3 % over 2008.
