Total cargo handled at Mormugao port was 629 thousand tonnes in 1950-51. It has surged by 34.2% to 844 thousand tonnes during 1951-52 over 1950-51. We have seen annual de-growth of -34.3% in total cargo handled at Mormugao port during 2018-19 from 26,897 thousand tonnes during 2017-18. Total cargo handled at Mormugao port was 16,017 thousand tonnes during 2019-20, down by -9.4% against 17,683 thousand tonnes during 2018-19.
