Top 5 Products in Export of Organic Chemicals during 2016-17

There are various products exported under Organic Chemicals group. The top 5 products in terms of having highest export during 2016-17 under Organic Chemicals group are Ethyl Acetate, Acetic Anhydride, Isobutylbenzene, Acetic Acid and Methanol.

We have seen a maximum export of 190187 metric tonne in 2013-14 for Ethyl Acetate during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. An annual de-growth of -10.6% has been observed in export of Ethyl Acetate from 104814 metric tonne during 2015-16 to 93699 metric tonne during 2016-17. We have seen a maximum export of 20443 metric tonne in 2016-17 for Acetic Anhydride during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. An annual growth of 9.9% has been observed in export of Acetic Anhydride from 18605 metric tonne during 2015-16 to 20443 metric tonne during 2016-17.

We have seen a maximum export of 14156 metric tonne in 2013-14 for Isobutylbenzene during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. An annual growth of 6.8% has been observed in export of Isobutylbenzene from 12572 metric tonne during 2015-16 to 13430 metric tonne during 2016-17. We have seen a maximum export of 25887 metric tonne in 2011-12 for Acetic Acid during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. An annual growth of 54.1% has been observed in export of Acetic Acid from 8378 metric tonne during 2015-16 to 12914 metric tonne during 2016-17.

We have seen a maximum export of 184669 metric tonne in 2012-13 for Methanol during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. An annual de-growth of -71.3% has been observed in export of Methanol from 44013 metric tonne during 2015-16 to 12624 metric tonne during 2016-17.
