Top 3 States in Estimates of Total Wool Production from Lamb during 2008-09 to 2012-13 were: Gujarat, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The total wool production from lamb in Gujarat was 396.83 thousand Kg. during the year 2008-09. It increased to 429.18 thousand Kg. in the year 2012-13. There was an absolute growth of 32.35 thousand Kg. (8.15%) in the total wool production over 2008-09. The total wool production of Gujarat during the period from 2008-09 to 2012-13 was 2107.45 thousand Kg.
The total wool production from lamb in Haryana was 322.77 thousand Kg. during the year 2008-09. It increased to 360.42 thousand Kg. in the year 2012-13. There was an absolute growth of 37.65 thousand Kg. (11.66%) in the total wool production over 2008-09. The total wool production of Haryana during the period from 2008-09 to 2012-13 was 1707.18 thousand Kg.
The total wool production from lamb in Himachal Pradesh was 154.53 thousand Kg. during the year 2008-09. It increased to 263.72 thousand Kg. in the year 2012-13. There was an absolute growth of 109.19 thousand Kg. (70.66%) in the total wool production over 2008-09. The total wool production of Himachal Pradesh during the period from 2008-09 to 2012-13 was 1189.98 thousand Kg.
