Top 3 Products in Export of Inorganic Chemicals during 2016-17

Inorganic Chemicals is one of the groups under Export of Major Chemicals. Under Inorganic Chemicals group there are various products exported; out of which top 3 products in terms of having highest export during 2016-17 are Carbon Black, Calcium Carbonate and Titanium Dioxide.

The export of Carbon Black was 359840 metric tonne during 2009-2010. Export of Carbon Black decreased to 332172 metric tonne in 2016-2017. In percentage term, the export of Carbon Black had shown a decrease of -7.7% during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. A maximum export of 365478 metric tonne was observed in export of Carbon Black in 2010-11 during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17.

The export of Calcium Carbonate was 19021 metric tonne during 2009-2010. Export of Calcium Carbonate increased to 33918 metric tonne in 2016-2017. In percentage term, the export of Calcium Carbonate had shown an increase of 78.3% during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. A maximum export of 39874 metric tonne was observed in export of Calcium Carbonate in 2012-13 during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17.

The export of Titanium Dioxide was 5942 metric tonne during 2009-2010. Export of Titanium Dioxide increased to 8183 metric tonne in 2016-2017. In percentage term, the export of Titanium Dioxide had shown an increase of 37.7% during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. A maximum export of 9051 metric tonne was observed in export of Titanium Dioxide in 2013-14 during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17.
