NAI ROSHNI Scheme is a scheme for providing training for leadership development of minority women. Target Group includes women belonging to all minorities notified under Section 2 (c) of the National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992 viz. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains.
The number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in India was 67175 during 2014-15. The top 10 states in terms of the number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme were: Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Assam, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Manipur, Delhi and West Bengal during 2014-15.
The number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in Uttar Pradesh was 27380 during 2014-15. It accounted for 40.76% of the number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in India during 2014-15. The number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in Madhya Pradesh was 8080 during 2014-15. It accounted for 12.03% of the number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in India during 2014-15. The number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in Rajasthan was 5555 during 2014-15. It accounted for 8.27% of the number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in India during 2014-15. The number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in Bihar was 4275 during 2014-15. It accounted for 6.36% of the number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in India during 2014-15. The number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in Assam was 4200 during 2014-15. It accounted for 6.25% of the number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in India during 2014-15. These top 5 states accounted for 73.67% of the number of trainees who got trained under NAI ROSHNI scheme in India as a whole during 2014-15.
