Top 10 States with highest allocation of National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP) Fund during the year 2012-2013 were: Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar.
Gujarat with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 2698.29 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 578.29 crores (21.43%), while the state allocation was Rs. 2120 crores (78.57%). Rajasthan with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 2121.54 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 1352.54 crores (63.75%), while the state allocation was Rs. 769 crores (36.25%). Uttar Pradesh with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 1960.87 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 1060.87 crores (54.1%), while the state allocation was Rs. 900 crores (45.9%).
Karnataka with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 1680.31 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 922.67 crores (54.91%), while the state allocation was Rs. 757.64 crores (45.09%). Maharashtra with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 1659.41 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 897.96 crores (54.11%), while the state allocation was Rs. 761.45 crores (45.89%). West Bengal with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 1323.62 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 523.53 crores (39.55%), while the state allocation was Rs. 800.09 crores (60.45%).
Andhra Pradesh with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 1297.74 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 563.39 crores (43.41%), while the state allocation was Rs. 734.35 crores (56.59%). Tamil Nadu with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 1192.66 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 394.82 crores (33.1%), while the state allocation was Rs. 797.84 crores (66.9%). Madhya Pradesh with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 883.98 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 447.33 crores (50.6%), while the state allocation was Rs. 436.66 crores (49.4%). Bihar with total allocation under NRDWP of Rs. 737.24 crores during 2013. Out of this, the central allocation was Rs. 484.24 crores (65.68%), while the state allocation was Rs. 253 crores (34.32%).
