Top 10 States/UTs with respect to Women Placed under PMKVY 2.0 As on 11th November 2019

As on 11th November 2019, 757,063 (28.29%) women were placed under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 2.0 in India, out of 2,675,856 women trained. The top 10 States/UTs with respect to women placed under PMKVY 2.0 as on 11.11.2019 were Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Telangana, Delhi, West Bengal and Bihar.

The number of women placed under PMKVY 2.0 was 95,779 in Uttar Pradesh as on 11th November 2019, which accounted 12.65% of the total women placed under PMKVY 2.0 in India. There were 74,004 women placed under PMKVY 2.0 in Tamil Nadu as on 11/11/2019. It accounted 9.78% of the total women placed under PMKVY 2.0 in India as on the same period. The number of women placed under PMKVY 2.0 was 70,707 in Madhya Pradesh as on 11.11.2019, which accounted 9.34% of the total women placed under PMKVY 2.0 in India.

There were 63,951 and 55,007 women placed under PMKVY 2.0 in Haryana and Rajasthan respectively as on 11/11/2019. Haryana accounted for 8.45% and Rajasthan accounted for 7.27% of the total women placed under PMKVY 2.0 in India as on 11.11.2019.

As on 11th November 2019, the number of women placed in Punjab, Telangana, Delhi, West Bengal and Bihar was 46,691, 39,063, 35,691, 35,464 and 28,308 respectively under PMKVY 2.0.
