Top 10 States/UTs with respect to Janaushadhi Kendras opened under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana As on 1st July 2019

There were 5,395 Janaushadhi Kendras opened in India under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) as on 01st July 2019. The top 10 States/UTs with respect to Janaushadhi Kendras opened under PMBJP as on 01/07/2019 were Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Odisha.

The number of Janaushadhi Kendras opened in Uttar Pradesh was 837 under PMBJP as on 01st July 2019, which accounted 15.51% of the total Janaushadhi Kendras opened in India. There were 533 Janaushadhi Kendras opened in Tamil Nadu under PMBJP as on 01.07.2019. It accounted 9.88% of the total Janaushadhi Kendras opened in India as on the same period. The number of Janaushadhi Kendras opened in Karnataka was 518 under PMBJP as on 01/07/2019, which accounted 9.6% of the total Janaushadhi Kendras opened in India.

There were 492 and 465 Janaushadhi Kendras opened in Gujarat and Kerala respectively under PMBJP as on 01st July 2019. Gujarat accounted for 9.12% and Kerala accounted for 8.62% of the total Janaushadhi Kendras opened in India as on 01.07.2019.

As on 01st July 2019, the number of Janaushadhi Kendras opened in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Odisha was 345, 206, 179, 174 and 172 respectively under PMBJP. These aforementioned top 10 States/UTs accounted for 72.68% of the total Janaushadhi Kendras opened in India as a whole as on 01/07/2019.
