As on 11th March 2020, there were 24,263,129 household beneficiaries identified under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) in India. The top 10 States/UTs with respect to household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G as on 11/03/2020 were West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Assam.
The number of household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G was 3,811,760 from West Bengal as on 11th Mar 2020, which accounted 15.71% of the total household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G in India. There were 3,686,428 household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G from Madhya Pradesh as on 11.03.2020. It accounted 15.19% of the total household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G in India as on the same period. The number of household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G was 3,348,928 from Bihar as on 11/03/2020, which accounted 13.8% of the total household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G in India.
There were 2,727,317 and 1,874,371 household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G from Odisha and Chhattisgarh respectively as on 11th Mar 2020. Odisha accounted for 11.24% and Chhattisgarh accounted for 7.73% of the total household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G in India as on 11/03/2020.
As on 11th March 2020, the number of household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G was 1,571,243, 1,472,661, 1,470,815, 1,207,956 and 881,603 from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Assam respectively.
These aforementioned top 10 States/UTs accounted for 90.89% of the total household beneficiaries identified under PMAY-G in India as a whole as on 11.03.2020.
