During 2019-20 (as on 8th July 2019), there were 81,023 beneficiaries under Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) component of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) [PMAY (U)] in India. The top 10 States/UTs with respect to beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) during 2019-20 (as on 8th July 2019) were Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.
The number of beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) was 18,835 in Gujarat during 2019-20 (as on 8th July 2019), which accounted 23.25% of the total beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) in India. There were 15,356 beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) in Maharashtra during 2019-20 (as on 8th July 2019). It accounted 18.95% of the total beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) in India during the same period. The number of beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) was 5,981 in Madhya Pradesh during 2019-20 (as on 8th July 2019), which accounted 7.38% of the total beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) in India.
There were 5,722 and 5,076 beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan respectively during 2019-20 (as on 8th July 2019). Uttar Pradesh accounted for 7.06% and Rajasthan accounted for 6.26% of the total beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) in India during 2019-20 (as on 8th July 2019).
During 2019-20 (as on 8th July 2019), the number of beneficiaries under CLSS component of PMAY (U) was 4,422, 4,076, 3,745, 3,351 and 3,075 in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh respectively.
