Top 10 States/ UTs in terms of Male Health Workers at Sub Centres as on 31st March 2017

In India there were 56263 Male Health Workers at Sub Centres as on 31st March 2017. The top 10 States/ UTs in terms of Male Health Workers at Sub Centres as on 31st March 2017 were Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Assam.

There were 7888 Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in Gujarat as on 31-03-2017. It accounted 14.02% of the total Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in India as on 31-03-2017. There were 4570 Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in Maharashtra as on 31-03-2017. It accounted 8.12% of the total Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in India as on 31-03-2017. There were 3856 Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in Chhattisgarh as on 31-03-2017. It accounted 6.85% of the total Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in India as on 31-03-2017.

In Uttar Pradesh there were 3835 Male Health Workers at Sub Centres as on 31st March 2017, which accounted 6.82% of the total Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in India. In Madhya Pradesh there were 3707 Male Health Workers at Sub Centres as on 31st March 2017, which accounted 6.59% of the total Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in India.

These top 5 states accounted for 42.4% of the total Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in India as a whole as on 31-03-2017.

As on 31st March 2017 there were 3617, 3401, 3252, 2964 and 2783 Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in Odisha, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Assam respectively.

The above mentioned top 10 states accounted for 70.87% of the total Male Health Workers at Sub Centres in India as a whole as on 31-03-2017.
