Top 10 States/UTs in terms of Households Completed 100 days of Employment under MGNREGS during 2018-19

During 2018-19 as on 23.07.2018, Total 296961 households completed 100 days of employment under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in India. The top 10 States/UTs in terms of households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS during 2018-19 as on 23.07.2018 were Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.

The number of households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS was 77667 in Andhra Pradesh during 2018-19. It accounted 26.15% of the total households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS during 2018-19. There were 74104 households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS in Telangana during 2018-19, which accounted 24.95% of the total households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS during the same period. The number of households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS was 60319 in Chhattisgarh during 2018-19. It accounted 20.31% of the total households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS during 2018-19.

There were 48257 and 14549 households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS in Maharashtra and West Bengal respectively during 2018-19. Maharashtra accounted 16.25% and West Bengal accounted 4.9% of the total households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS during 2018-19. The number of households completed 100 days of employment under MGNREGS was 3042, 2884, 2717, 2340 and 2252 in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh respectively during 2018-19.
