The financial allocation under Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY) in India was Rs. 1409955 lacs during 2014-15. The top 10 states in terms of the financial allocation under IAY were: West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Maharashtra, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh during 2014-15.
The financial allocation under IAY in West Bengal was Rs. 236311 lacs during 2014-15. It was 16.76% of the financial allocation under IAY in India during 2014-15. The financial allocation under IAY in Uttar Pradesh was Rs. 232213 lacs during 2014-15. It was 16.47% of the financial allocation under IAY in India during 2014-15. The financial allocation under IAY in Bihar was Rs. 153019 lacs during 2014-15. It was 10.85% of the financial allocation under IAY in India during 2014-15. The financial allocation under IAY in Assam was Rs. 128586 lacs during 2014-15. It was 9.12% of the financial allocation under IAY in India during 2014-15. The financial allocation under IAY in Maharashtra was Rs. 102822 lacs during 2014-15. It was 7.29% of the financial allocation under IAY in India during 2014-15. These top 5 states accounted for 60.49% of the total financial allocation under Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY) in India as a whole during 2014-15.
The financial allocation under IAY in Odisha was Rs. 87693 lacs during 2014-15 (6.22% of All India). The financial allocation under IAY in Madhya Pradesh was Rs. 62892 lacs during 2014-15 (4.46% of All India). The financial allocation under IAY in Rajasthan was Rs. 55154 lacs during 2014-15 (3.91% of All India). The financial allocation under IAY in Karnataka was Rs. 51868 lacs during 2014-15 (3.68% of All India). The financial allocation under IAY in Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 42729 lacs during 2014-15 (3.03% of All India).
The above mentioned top 10 states accounted for 81.79% of the total financial allocation under Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY) in India as a whole during 2014-15.
