The top 10 States in children rescued or withdrawn from work, rehabilitated and mainstreamed under national child labour project scheme during 2015-16 were: West Bengal, Assam, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Odisha.
