Top 10 Power Stations in Monthly Power Generation in March 2015

The 10 Power Generation Stations with highest generation of power in the month of March 2015 were VINDHYACHAL STPS, TALCHER STPS, MUNDRA UMTPP, MUNDRA TPS, RAMAGUNDEM STPS, SIPAT STPS, KORBA STPS, RIHAND STPS, TIRORA TPS and SASAN UMTPP.

VINDHYACHAL Super Thermal Power Stations (STPS) had a generation of 2448.5 Giga Watt Hour (GWH) during the month of March 2015. TALCHER STPS had a generation of 2214.06 Giga Watt Hour during the month of March 2015. MUNDRA Ultra Mega Thermal Power Project (UMTPP) had a generation of 2115.38 Giga Watt Hour during the month of March 2015. MUNDRA Thermal Power Stations (TPS) had a generation of 1935.13 Giga Watt Hour during the month of March 2015. RAMAGUNDEM STPS had a generation of 1918.52 Giga Watt Hour during the month of March 2015. SIPAT STPS had a generation of 1808.26 Giga Watt Hour during the month of March 2015. KORBA STPS had a generation of 1720.21 Giga Watt Hour during the month of March 2015. RIHAND STPS had a generation of 1705.82 Giga Watt Hour during the month of March 2015. TIRORA TPS had a generation of 1590.62 Giga Watt Hour during the month of March 2015. SASAN UMTPP had a generation of 1439.81 Giga Watt Hour during the month of March 2015.

Out of these top ten Power Generation Stations six belongs to Public Sector i.e. NTPC Limited viz. VINDHYACHAL STPS, TALCHER STPS, RAMAGUNDEM STPS, SIPAT STPS, KORBA STPS and RIHAND STPS. While, the rest four Power Generation Stations belongs to private sector.

Note: The Program Generation and Actual Generation are in Giga Watt Hour (GWH). The Installed Capacity is in Mega Watts (MW).
