Top 10 districts of M.P. in Average Rainfall during 2014

India is having diversified climate wherein monsoon plays vital role. June to September is the major time of rainfall and majority of rainfall occurs during this period. Diversity of India is responsible for the variability of average rainfall amongst the Indian states. This visualization shows the Average rainfall in the districts of Madhya Pradesh during 2014. Top 10 districts of Madhya Pradesh in terms of Average Rainfall during 2014 were; Khandwa, Harda, Mandla, Burhanpur, Anuppur, Hoshangabad, Dindori, Betul, Rajgarh and Balaghat.

The average annual rainfall in Khandwa district was 1172.4 mm in the year 2014 that showed decline of 17.2% from previous year 2013. The average annual rainfall in Harda district was 1122.6 mm in the year that showed decline of 33.7% from previous year 2013. The average annual rainfall in Mandla was 1057.7 mm in the year that showed decline of 33.7% from previous year 2013. In Burhanpur, the average rainfall was 1048.1 mm in the year that declined 21.8% from previous year 2013. In Anuppur, average rainfall was 1012.6 mm in the year that increased 6.5% from previous year. Hoshangabad had average rainfall 1006.7 mm in the year that declined 48.3% from 2013. In Dindori, average rainfall was 965.9 mm that declined 13.5% from 2013. The average rainfall in Betul was 962.4 that showed decline of 38.1% from previous year. The average rainfall in Rajgarh was 956.5 that showed decline of 33.9% from previous year. The average rainfall in Balaghat was 937.7 that showed decline of 31.5% from previous year.
