Telephones per 100 Population during 2001-13

During 2001-2013, telephones per 100 population in India has increased at a CAGR of 29%. During this period highest growth in telephones per 100 population was observed for Bihar, which increased at a CAGR of 36%, although in 2013, telephones per 100 population in Bihar was lowest(45.72). In 2013, telephones per 100 population in Tamil Nadu was highest(108.17) in comparison to other states. All India figure of telephones per 100 population was at 73.32 in 2013.Top 5 states in terms of telephones per 100 population were Tamil Nadu,Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Kerala and Karnataka.Bottom 5 states in terms of telephones per 100 population were Bihar,Assam, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal,Uttar Pradesh.
