The Overall Teledensity in India in January 2015 was 78.16%. It rose to 78.73% in February 2015. There was a growth of 0.57 percentage points in February 2015 as compared to January 2015.

The Wireline Teledensity in India in January 2015 was 2.14%. It declined to 2.13% in February 2015. There was a decline of -0.01 percentage points in February 2015 as compared to January 2015. The Wireless Teledensity in India in January 2015 was 76.01%. It rose to 76.6% in February 2015. There was a growth of 0.59 percentage points in February 2015 as compared to January 2015.

The Rural Teledensity in India in January 2015 was 46.74%. It rose to 47.21% in February 2015. There was a growth of 0.47 percentage points in February 2015 as compared to January 2015. The Urban Teledensity in India in January 2015 was 148.19%. It rose to 148.96% in February 2015. There was a growth of 0.77 percentage points in February 2015 as compared to January 2015.

The Public Teledensity in India in January 2015 was 8.3%. It declined to 8.08% in February 2015. There was a decline of -0.22 percentage points in February 2015 as compared to January 2015. The Private Teledensity in India in January 2015 was 69.86%. It rose to 70.66% in February 2015. There was a growth of 0.8 percentage points in February 2015 as compared to January 2015.
