Telecom Service Provider-wise Provisional License Fee Outstanding as per Department of Telecom up to July-2019

The total provisional license fee of Rs. 92,642 crore was outstanding by Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) in India as per Department of Telecom up to July-2019. The top 5 TSPs with respect to provisional license fee outstanding as per Department of Telecom up to July 2019 were Bharti Airtel Group of Companies, Vodafone Group of Companies, Reliance Communication Ltd./ Reliance Telecommunication Ltd., Tata Group of Companies and Idea Cellular Ltd.

The provisional license fee of Rs. 21,682 crore was outstanding from Bharti Airtel Group of Companies as per Department of Telecom up to July 2019, which accounted 23.4% of the total provisional license fee outstanding by TSPs in India. There was outstanding provisional license fee of Rs. 19,824 crore from Vodafone Group of Companies as per Department of Telecom up to July-2019. It accounted 21.4% of the total provisional license fee outstanding by TSPs in India as per Department of Telecom up to the same period. The provisional license fee of Rs. 16,457 crore was outstanding from Reliance Communication Ltd./ Reliance Telecommunication Ltd. as per Department of Telecom up to July 2019, which accounted 17.76% of the total provisional license fee outstanding by TSPs in India.

There was outstanding provisional license fee of Rs. 9,987 and 8,485 crore from Tata Group of Companies and Idea Cellular Ltd. respectively as per Department of Telecom up to July-2019. Tata Group of Companies accounted for 10.78% and Idea Cellular Ltd. accounted for 9.16% of the total provisional license fee outstanding by TSPs in India as per Department of Telecom up to July 2019.

These aforementioned top 5 TSPs accounted for 82.51% of the total provisional license fee outstanding by all TSPs in India as a whole as per Department of Telecom up to July 2019.
