State/UT-wise Percentage of Children (12-23 months age) received Measles Vaccine during 2015-16

According to NFHS-4 report, 81.1% Children of 12-23 months age have been received Measles Vaccine in India. Whereas according to NFHS-3 report, 58.8% Children of 12-23 months age had been received Measles Vaccine in India. According to NFHS-4 report, 80.3% and 83.2% Children of 12-23 months age have been received Measles Vaccine in rural areas of India and urban areas of India respectively.

According to NFHS-4, there are 20 States/UTs which seen above the All India (81.1%) percentage of Children of 12-23 months age have been received Measles Vaccine. As per NFHS-4, Goa has the highest 96.5% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received Measles Vaccine followed by Chandigarh, Puducherry, Chattisgarh, Sikkim, Punjab, West Bengal, Lakshadweep, Telangana, Delhi, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Karnataka and Dadra and Nagar Haveli with 95.9%, 95.4%, 93.9%, 93.3%, 93.1%, 92.8%, 92.5%, 90.6%, 90.5%, 89.4%, 89.4%, 87.9%, 87.5%, 86.2%, 85.1%, 82.8%, 82.6%, 82.4% and 81.7% respectively. According to NFHS-3, Tamil Nadu had the highest 92.5% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received Measles Vaccine.

According to NFHS-4, there are 16 States/UTs which seen below the All India (81.1%) percentage of Children of 12-23 months age have been received Measles Vaccine. As per NFHS-4, Nagaland has the lowest 50.4% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received Measles Vaccine followed by Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Gujarat, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Rajasthan, Haryana, Daman and Diu, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand with 54.6%, 61.1%, 69.7%, 70.8%, 71.4%, 71.9%, 74.2%, 75%, 76.4%, 78.1%, 79%, 79.1%, 79.4%, 79.6% and 80.6% respectively. According to NFHS-3, Nagaland had the lowest 27.3% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received Measles Vaccine.
