State/UT-wise Percentage of Children (12-23 months age) received 3 doses of Hepatitis B Vaccine during 2015-16

According to NFHS-4 report, 62.8% Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine in India. According to NFHS-4 report, 62.5% and 63.3% Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine in rural areas of India and urban areas of India respectively.

According to NFHS-4, there are 19 States/UTs which seen above the All India (62.8%) percentage of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine. As per NFHS-4, Punjab has the highest 91% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine followed by Puducherry, Lakshadweep, West Bengal, Goa, Sikkim, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Kerala, Chattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Meghalaya with 89.4%, 86.7%, 86.4%, 85.2%, 84.1%, 83.2%, 83.1%, 82.7%, 82.4%, 76.4%, 74.1%, 70.6%, 70.3%, 69.9%, 68.8%, 68.2%, 65.5% and 62.9% respectively.

According to NFHS-4, there are 17 States/UTs which seen below the All India (62.8%) percentage of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine. As per NFHS-4, Gujarat has the lowest 38.6% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine followed by Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Assam, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Mizoram, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Daman and Diu and Maharashtra with 40.9%, 45.8%, 52%, 52.1%, 52.8%, 53.1%, 54.3%, 54.4%, 56.3%, 56.4%, 56.8%, 58.9%, 59.4%, 59.8%, 60.6% and 60.8% respectively.
