State/UT-wise Percentage of Children (12-23 months age) received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine as per NFHS-4

According to NFHS-4 report, 78.4% Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine in India. Whereas according to NFHS-3 report, 55.3% Children of 12-23 months age had been received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine in India. According to NFHS-4 report, 77.7% and 80.2% Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine in rural areas of India and urban areas of India respectively.

According to NFHS-4, there are 20 States/UTs which seen above the All India (78.4%) percentage of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine. As per NFHS-4, Puducherry has the highest 96% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine followed by Chandigarh, Punjab, Goa, Lakshadweep, Sikkim, West Bengal, Chattisgarh, Kerala, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttarakhand with 95.9%, 94.5%, 94.2%, 94.2%, 93%, 92.7%, 91.4%, 90.4%, 89.2%, 89%, 88.1%, 87.9%, 85%, 84.5%, 83.7%, 83.5%, 82.4%, 80.2% and 80% respectively. According to NFHS-3, Tamil Nadu had the highest 95.7% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine.

According to NFHS-4, there are 16 States/UTs which seen below the All India (78.4%) percentage of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine. As per NFHS-4, Nagaland has the lowest 52% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine followed by Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Madhya Pradesh, Daman and Diu, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Haryana, Manipur and Karnataka with 52.3%, 61.7%, 66.5%, 66.5%, 71.1%, 71.6%, 72.7%, 73.3%, 73.4%, 74%, 74%, 74.9%, 76.5%, 77.8% and 77.9% respectively. According to NFHS-3, Nagaland had the lowest 28.7% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received 3 doses of DPT Vaccine.
