State/UT-wise Per Capita Availability of Eggs, 2007-08 and 2011-12

Increasing trend seen in India in Per Capita Availability of Eggs (47 in 2007-08 and 55 in 2011-12). Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Andaman & Nicobar Islands State/UT have the higher Per Capita Availability of Eggs in both 2007-08 and 2011-12 in comparison to other states. Andhra Pradesh has the highest Per Capita Availability of Eggs 214 in 2007-08 and 251 in 2011-12.

Six States and UT viz. Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Karnataka, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands are above the National estimate (55) in 2011-12.
