This chart shows information about the States/UT-wise activities conducted under the Vibrant Villages Programme (VVP) as on 18-07-2024. The government has approved Vibrant Villages Programme (VVP) as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme on 15th February, 2023 for comprehensive development of the select villages in 46 blocks abutting the northern border in 19 districts in the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Uttarakhand and UT of Ladakh. The highest number of 2,232 activities were conducted in Arunachal Pradesh. The lowest number of 416 activities were conducted in Sikkim. Under Vibrant Villages Programme, 5,958 activities across Vibrant Villages have been undertaken including awareness drives, service delivery camps, training and capacity building activities, health and veterinary camps, fair & festivals and promotion of tourism activities, etc.
