State-wise Total Working Capital and Borrowings of Central Co-operative Banks in 2013-14

The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in various states of India was Rs. 936073 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 204005 million (21.79% of total working capital). In other words, the 21.79 percent of total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in various states of India was financed by borrowings. The top 10 states in terms of the total working capital were: Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh during 2013-14.

The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Maharashtra was Rs. 776741 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 53775 million (6.92% of total working capital). The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Kerala was Rs. 387897 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 18941 million (4.88% of total working capital). The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Tamil Nadu was Rs. 360184 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 60319 million (16.75% of total working capital). The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Gujarat was Rs. 263348 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 43792 million (16.63% of total working capital). The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Madhya Pradesh was Rs. 236874 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 76561 million (32.32% of total working capital).

The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Karnataka was Rs. 215680 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 56439 million (26.17% of total working capital). The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Punjab was Rs. 198852 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 69444 million (34.92% of total working capital). The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Uttar Pradesh was Rs. 192752 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 46524 million (24.14% of total working capital). The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Rajasthan was Rs. 190490 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 78696 million (41.31% of total working capital). The total working capital of all the central co-operative banks in Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 186808 million. Their total borrowings were worth Rs. 87379 million (46.77% of total working capital).
