This chart provides information about the State-wise Share of Union Taxes and Duties released to the State Governments during 2022-23 (till 10th March 2023). A total of Rs. 9,48,405.82 crore Union Taxes and Duties were released to the State Governments. The top 10 State/UT in terms of union tax and duties were Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.
