State-wise Production of Vermiculite in India from 2015-16 to 2017-18

Production of Vermiculite was 23279 tonne in India during 2015-16. It has decreased by -61.16% during 2016-17 over 2015-16. We have seen annual de-growth of -33.03% in production of Vermiculite in India to 6055 tonne during 2017-18 versus 9042 tonne during 2016-17. In value term it was Rs. 10556 thousand, Rs. 8162 thousand and Rs. 7078 thousand from 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively.

Three states were there in India where Vermiculite was produced during 2015-16 to 2017-18; the names of those states were Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. Vermiculite production in Andhra Pradesh was 4790 tonne during 2017-18, down by -33.7% versus 7225 tonne during 2016-17; whereas it was 21890 tonne during 2015-16. Its value was Rs. 7986 thousand, Rs. 2441 thousand and Rs. 2891 thousand during 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively.

Production of Vermiculite was 421 tonne in Rajasthan during 2015-16. It has decreased by -69.83% to 127 tonne during 2016-17 over 2015-16. Vermiculite production in Rajasthan was 0 tonne during 2017-18. In value term it was Rs. 400 thousand during 2015-16 and Rs. 127 thousand during 2016-17.

Vermiculite production in Tamil Nadu was 968 tonne, 1690 tonne and 1265 tonne from 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively. We have seen annual growth of 74.59% and -25.15% in production of Vermiculite in Tamil Nadu during 2016-17 and 2017-18 respectively over its previous year. Its value was Rs. 2170 thousand, Rs. 5594 thousand and Rs. 4187 thousand during 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively.
