The graph shows State/UT-wise number of villages covered under the 5G mobile network through installed 5G Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) in India as of February 28, 2025. A total of 68,151 villages across India were covered under the 5G mobile network through 5G Base Transceiver Stations (BTS). The chart highlights the top 10 States and Union Territories (UTs) with the highest number of villages covered under the 5G network were Uttar Pradesh (8,451), Maharasthra (6,910), Rajasthan (5,393), Gujarat (4,842), Bihar (4601), West Bengal (4,521), Andhra Pradesh (3,797), Karnataka (3,750), Madhya Pradesh (3,686) and Tamil Nadu (3,211).
