State-wise Financial Progress under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in 2014-15

The total value of proposals cleared under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in India was Rs. 183712.95 crores in 2014-15. The top 10 states in terms of the total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY were: Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh in 2014-15.

The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in Bihar was Rs. 25978.28 crores in 2014-15. It accounted for 14.14% of the total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in India in 2014-15. The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in Madhya Pradesh was Rs. 18692.13 crores in 2014-15. It accounted for 10.17% of the total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in India in 2014-15. The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in Odisha was Rs. 17819.91 crores in 2014-15. It accounted for 9.7% of the total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in India in 2014-15. The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in Uttar Pradesh was Rs. 14876.43 crores in 2014-15. It accounted for 8.1% of the total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in India in 2014-15. The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in Rajasthan was Rs. 12125.18 crores in 2014-15. It accounted for 6.6% of the total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in India in 2014-15. These top 5 states accounted for 48.71% of the total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in India as a whole in 2014-15.

The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in West Bengal was Rs. 11069.17 crores in 2014-15 (6.03% of All India). The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in Assam was Rs. 10204.46 crores in 2014-15 (5.55% of All India). The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in Chhattisgarh was Rs. 8483.1 crores in 2014-15 (4.62% of All India). The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in Maharashtra was Rs. 8299.31 crores in 2014-15 (4.52% of All India). The total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 6801.79 crores in 2014-15 (3.7% of All India).

The above mentioned top 10 states accounted for 73.13% of the total value of proposals cleared under PMGSY in India as a whole in 2014-15.
