State-wise Details of the Wheat Sowing Area in the Country during 2022-23

The bar graph illustrates state-wise wheat sowing area details during 2022-23 (2nd Advance Estimates). The nationwide wheat sowing area is 31.87 million hectares, approximately 4.904% higher than the average sowing area from 2017-18 to 2021-22. Uttar Pradesh leads with 9.59 million hectares, followed by Madhya Pradesh, while Maharashtra records the lowest value at 1.07 million hectares.
