This chart provides information about the State-wise details of the installed capacity of Bio-CNG projects including projects set up under the Sustainable Alternative towards Affordable Transportation (SATAT) Initiative commissioned as on 31-12-2022. The total Bio-CNG production capacity was 2,64,467 kg/day. The top 10 States in terms of Bio-CNG production capacity were Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Karnataka, Telangana, and West Bengal.
