State/UT-wise Urban PHCs with Ayush Facility As on 31st March 2019

As on 31st March 2019, there were 333 (6.42%) urban primary health centres (PHCs) with Ayush facility in India out of functioning of 5,190 urban PHCs. The top 5 States/UTs with respect to number of urban PHCs with Ayush facility as on 31-03-2019 were Karnataka, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

The number of urban PHCs with Ayush facility was 84 in Karnataka as on 31st March 2019, which accounted 25.23% of the total urban PHCs with Ayush facility in India. There were 54 urban PHCs with Ayush facility in Delhi as on 31-03-2019. It accounted 16.22% of the total urban PHCs with Ayush facility in India as on the same period. The number of urban PHCs with Ayush facility was 50 in Madhya Pradesh as on 31st March 2019, which accounted 15.02% of the total urban PHCs with Ayush facility in India.

There were 31 and 21 urban PHCs with Ayush facility in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu respectively as on 31-03-2019. Maharashtra accounted for 9.31% and Tamil Nadu accounted for 6.31% of the total urban PHCs with Ayush facility in India as on 31st March 2019.

Note: Rural and Urban PHCs consists of PHCs and HWCs-PHCs functional under respective areas.
