This map is the representation of the number of Tele-MANAS (Tele Mental Health Assistance and Networking Across State initiative of GoI) cells sanctioned as on 14-12-2022, released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as an acknowledgement to the mental health crisis in the country. Total of 51 Tele-MANAS cells are sanctioned in the country. Uttar Pradesh indicates the state with a maximum number of sanctioned cells.

Data for state Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Goa, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Mizoram, Puducherry and Sikkim Ten states/ UTs with population less than 20 lakh will have a smaller cell comprising of appropriate strength of Consultants, Counselors, DEOs and Attendants.
