This chart provides information about the State/UT-wise status of tap water connections in rural households during 2022-23 (as on 04.08.2022). The total number of 59.91 lakh rural households were given tap water connections. The top 10 State/UT in terms of tap water connection were Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
