State/UT-wise Solar Power Capacity Installed as on 30-06-2021

A total of 42,335.45 megawatts solar power capacity was installed on 30.06-2021. The top 10 states/Ut in terms of capacity installed were Karnataka, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab.
Note – Source: RAJYA SABHA SESSION – 254 UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 295. *: Based on the data received from UT Ladakh, the solar capacity of Ladakh is now being taken separately from JK in the cumulative solar capacity.
