State/UT wise quota of sugar for PDS as per existing guidelines for AAY families during 2021-22

Total of 2,99,996 million tonnes of sugar quota was decided for Public Distribution System (PDS) as per existing guidelines for Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) families during 2021-22.
The top 10 States in terms of the annual quota of sugar for PDS as per existing guidelines for AAY families were Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan during 2021-22. The highest sugar quota was for Uttar Pradesh and the lowest sugar quota was for Lakshadweep during 2021-22.
