State/UT-wise Percentage of Schools with Girls Toilet in India during 2015-16

India has witnessed an increasing trend in percentage of Schools with Girls Toilet from 2013-14 to 2015-16. Percentage of Schools with Girls Toilet in India was 91.23%, 93.08% and 97.52% from 2013-14 to 2015-16 respectively.

There were 9 States/UTs in India which had 100% of Schools with Girls Toilet during 2015-16. These States/UTs were Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Goa, Lakshadweep, Puducherry and Telangana.

There were other 9 States/UTs in India which had less than 98% of Schools with Girls Toilet during 2015-16. These States/UTs were Uttarakhand with 97.18%, Odisha with 97.06%, Jharkhand with 96.75%, Madhya Pradesh with 96.65%, Arunachal Pradesh with 96.56%, Jammu and Kashmir with 95%, Bihar with 90.05%, Meghalaya with 84.29% and Assam with 83.94% of Schools with Girls Toilet during 2015-16.

Rest States/UTs were there which placed greater than 98% but less than 100% of Schools with Girls Toilet during 2015-16 namely; West Bengal (98.29%), Manipur (98.74%), Kerala (99.15%), Chhattisgarh (99.16%), Mizoram (99.27%), Maharashtra (99.41%), Karnataka (99.59%), Haryana (99.6%), Rajasthan (99.67%), Andhra Pradesh (99.72%), Uttar Pradesh (99.8%), Himachal Pradesh (99.82%), Punjab (99.83%), Sikkim (99.83%), Tripura (99.86%), Nagaland (99.89%), Tamil Nadu (99.9%) and Gujarat (99.95%).
