State/UT-wise percentage of mothers who had full antenatal care during 2015-16

As per National Family Health Survey, increasing trend has been seen in India in percentage of mothers who had full antenatal care from 11.6 % in 2012-13 (NFHS-3) and 21.0% in 2015-16 (NFHS-4).

Lakshadweep has highest percentage of mothers who had full antenatal care 66.4% during 2015-16 (NFHS-4). Nagaland has lowest percentage of mothers who had full antenatal care 2.4% during 2015-16 (NFHS-4) in comparison to other states.

Eleven States/UTs viz. Haryana, Assam, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar and Nagaland are below the National value 21.0% during 2015-16 (NFHS-4).
