We have witnessed an increasing trend in percentage of Higher Secondary Schools with Boys Toilet in India to 95.67% during 2015-16 versus 88.97% during 2014-15, whereas it was 74.36% during 2013-14.
There were 20 States/UTs namely Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu And Kashmir, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand and West Bengal; which had 100% of Higher Secondary Schools with Boys Toilet during 2015-16. There were 6 States/UTs namely Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Lakshadweep, Rajasthan, Sikkim and Tripura; which had 0% of Higher Secondary Schools with Boys Toilet during 2015-16.
The remaining 10 States/UTs namely Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Odisha, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh; which had 80.21%, 87.46%, 99.72%, 94.93%, 93.65%, 99.61%, 82.82%, 88.4%, 98.08% and 92.31% respectively Higher Secondary Schools with Boys Toilet in 2015-16.
