The top 5 states where the highest number of girls enrolled in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) as on 31-03-2024 were Telangana (1,35,889), Andhra Pradesh (1,00,662), Uttar Pradesh (80,079), Jharkhand (68,487) and Bihar (60,606) and the bottom 5 state/UT where the lowest number of girls enrolled in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) as on 31-03-2024 was Kerala (80), Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Damam and Diu (146), Mizoram (150), Sikkim (210), Ladakh(436) and Meghalaya (500).
